I fondly remember the St Patrick's day Masses with Fr Con in Shanbally Church and how special he made them. He will be missed greatly. May he rest in peace.

To all the Cronins of Doire na Fuinsean, to the faithful of the dioceses of Minna, Kontegora, Cork and Ross, to the parishes of Bobi, Castleblaney and Cork Harbour and to the wonderful society of Kiltegan, I offer my deepest condolences. Rest in peace, my lovely friend, in the light of our God Whom you served faithfully and with immeasurable energy and good humour.

What a sad day on earth when God decided it was your time to be with him. Last March, I asked you for a video blessing for the Irish Rambles Cultural Celebration, and you did not hesitate, as is your wont.
Fr. Con, you were always the true "Peoples Priest," and there is great comfort in knowing that you are now one of God's angels.
Your legacy has left the earth in a better place.

We were deeply shocked & saddened to hear of Fr Con's tragic death.It was a privilege getting to know him during his time in Castlerea & meeting him again in Gougane Barra , through our Cork relations.

Sincerest sympathy to the family, parishioners, many friends & confreres of Fr Con. We were very shocked to learn of his sudden & untimely death. He was an absolute gentleman, with a huge personality & immeasurable kindness. We had the privilege of getting to know him well during the years when served as a curate in Castlerea, & during that time, he travelled to Lourdes as chaplain with Group 125 of the Irish Pilgrimage Trust. He will be very fondly remembered by everyone who knew him. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

We were truly saddened and very shocked at the tragic untimely death of a truly wonderful man. We are so privileged to have had you as our Priest for the past number of years. It was a joy to medt you and have a bit of banter. Always came away smiling. You were a beautiful, kind, funny, humerous, non judgmental, caring man and it was such an honour to have known you. The sad news of Fr Con Cronin he was such a lovely man and made us so welcome, he will be missed by all who knew him. We will always remember him. Fr Con made our brother Hughie Sullivan's funeral mass one to remember in Monkstown Church. The way he involved us all, it was as if he had known us for years. Fr Con beautifully incorporated our 60th Wedding Anniversary into the mass.

Fr. Con, we are all going to miss you.
