I served as an alter boy for him back in the day, he was a wonderful priest, a breath of fresh air. He led the project to erect the present Holy year Cross on Sliabh na mBan and did as much work as any man during the build
Next year will mark its 50th anniversary , our Mass that day will be dedicated in memory of Fr Donal, may he rest in Gods peace.
