It was a huge shock to learn of Fr.Eóin's sudden passing. I had the privilege of walking in the footsteps of the Lord with him in the Holy Land in 2015. He was an inspiring priest and I have fond memories of our time together. I was hoping to being in his company again in the Holy Land at sometime in the future. However he will be an unseen pilgrim with us again as we travel to the Holy Land in September 2019. My sincere condolences to his family and parishioners on their tragic loss.

Eoin was a pleasure to have known and to have worked closely with for many years in Donaghmede Parish and the Parish Pastoral Council, while endeavouring to minister to the establishing new areas of Clongrifin and Belmayne. He was always so fantastic to be with and was very good to the Reilly Family. He is such a loss to a wide group of people through his ministry.

Dear Peter and family, I was very saddened to hear of Eoin's passing, my deepest condolences to you. I know you will smile when you remember all of the great times and experiences we all had growing up in Ballyfermot in Johnny Mitchell's St Cecilia's Accordion Band. Eoin was a great accordion player and a fantastic drummer - he gave me drum lessons when we were 12!. We all moved on from there to St Matthew's Church YCW as teenagers and Eoin was always a leading light with the youth there. May he rest in peace and God give you great comfort with these precious memories at this very difficult time.
