Fr. George WADDING C.Ss.R.

Deeply saddened by the Death of Father George (my first Cousin). He leaves behind so many fond memories and deep gratitude for having had him in our lives. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends. He was a true Servant of God to the very end. You will now reap what you have sown Father George. R.I.P.

Our deepest sympathy to all our Wadding family in Ireland and elsewhere. George was a wonderful man, an exemplary servant of our Lord and a blessing to all. He had a unique way of making anyone in his presence feel special. He and his great wit and gentleness will be missed.

I was so sad to hear about Fr. George's death, and my sympathy goes to all of his family and friends. He was a first cousin of my mother, whose father was his uncle. Unfortunately I had the pleasure only recently of meeting him and I certainly agree that he was everything everyone here has said. Such a gentle and lovely man. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear this news and that I could not be there. We spoke when I was last back in Ireland in July. I will miss his wit and wisdom. As a child I always looked forward to his regular visits to Waterford. Rest in peace George.

I joined in for his funeral Mass today. Fr. Dan gave a very moving account of the man who touched so many lives.

About 20 years ago. Fr. George initiated a Holy Thursday collection which was donated to our Conference. This arrived unfailingly each year while Marianella was there. It benefited greatly those we visit and eased their burdens. Thank you Fr.George and Rest in Peace
