Sincere condolences on the sad loss of Fr. Gerry, May he Rest In Peace.
— The Salmon Family, Kilkenny
Sincerest condolences to the family of Fr Lambe and to his Spiritan Community.
I can't remember exactly when Fr Jerry became a regular visitor to our grandmothers home in Muckerstown through my uncle, Fr Terry, but it was a LONG time ago, possibly 25 years ago? Since then, he was welcomed regularly to many more homes throughout Meath & Dublin and then further afield, when more nieces of Terry grew up, married and moved on to pastures new in Cavan and Louth. We looked forward to that random call to say they were on the way back from a parish up North maybe and were going to pop in for a cuppa. We wouldn't have the best china and the fancy tablecloth on the coffee table but we'd feed them well !
Jerry was welcomed into the family as one of our own and he has officiated at all of our family events where possible, even where Terry wasn't available. Indeed, he has shared the best days and the worst days of our lives down through those years, the days of great joy and the days of our deepest sorrow. He always made a bad situation better with his kind and supportive words.
He has been a great friend to Fr Terry and Fr Terry to him. Besties and brothers within the Spiritan Community. Wasn't it great that they enjoyed each others company for so long?
Fr Jerry was a true gentleman and a wonderful priest and I will always remember his wonderful laugh. We will miss him so. May he rest in eternal peace now.

Our Deepest condolences to all of Jerry's family and his colleagues in Kimmage Manor on sad news of his passing.
Jerry was a much loved regular visitor to many of our family's homes in Meath & Cavan over the years through his long standing friendship with our uncle Fr Terry. He has officiated at many of our family weddings, christenings and funerals, offering great comfort when it was needed too. Sure he was part of the furniture really. Everyone enjoyed Jerrys pleasant company & the banter.
It will be very odd now to see Terry arriving without Jerry, they were a little bit like Laurel & Hardy.
He will be great missed by us all but always remembered with great affection. Rest in heavenly peace evermore Jerry xxx
