Dear Father John rest in peace. Miss you so much frorom Acton. You touched so many lives. Great loss to your family and anyone who ever met you.
Sincere condolences on the passing of dear Fr John, . He will be fondly remembered with gratitude by our family for all he did for our Brother-in-law Palmino during his illness. He was a true friend to my sister Mary and their children Marianna and Liz. He was a devout and honourable priest with a very caring and kind personality.

He was my best friend from when we began teaching at St Winifred's school Bradford in 1966.
He was always a fun-loving, supportive and genuine friend throughout our time together at Trinity and All Saints college and when we shared a home in Leeds. I will always have fond memories oh him and your family tinged with regret that I did not meet him again in later life.

So sorry to hear such sad news. We knew him well when he was in Leeds. Gaelic football & soccer memories abound. Rest in peace.
