Dear Rose and Father John’s family:
Our sincere condolences on Fr John’s passing. We repeat the message we wrote to Fr John in 2016 when he left Mottingham for Macroom:
Dear Father John,
As you will have gathered from the messages, you are certainly much loved and remembered and have left a lasting legacy for our parish (Our Lady Help of Christians). You have touched families like ours, and even though we do not express it often, we are grateful that you have served our parish for 22 years. The parish has been privileged that you have seen our children through the Sacraments and watched them grow through the years.
May God bless and keep you always as you continue your Journey peacefully in Ireland.
The Reilly Family, Mottingham
May you now rest in eternal peace and joy, Father John!
