Fr Louis was the parish priest at Holy family School when I was appointed. Headteacher. He was kind, gentle, humorous and filled with love for the people and children for whom he watched over in our Southampton school. He gave excellent advice and was one of the best guiding lights I have ever had the privilege to know.
The staff and children loved him in the purest sense and I give thanks that God sent him to us. May his soul rest in peace and May his family know God’s love at this terribly sad time.
— Gerida Montague, and all at Holy Family Catholic Prinary

Had a great interest in the poor and people on the margins. You had a great interest in sport, even though I was not a Liverpool fan.
