Lord have mercy on Fr.Michael. R.I.P.

I remember him and his dog walking regularly around the back rocks at Mullaghmore at any hour of the day or night.

I also recall my late father telling me a story about the time when Fr.Michael was transporting a hive of bees on the public bus when they decided to escape! I'm sure that he is now surrounded by angels 'flying' around him in his heavenly home.

'Morning Star' is an ancient title given to Mary in the Litany.
The Morning Star heralds a new dawn and sunrise.
Fr. Michael Glynn quietly reflected the light of God's love to many people.
On this Feast of the Presentation of Mary, may the undimmed Morning Star,
which never sets, lead Michael to the 'dawn from on high',
where he will be 'guided in the way of peace' to know
'the loving-kindness of the heart of our God'.
Deo Gratias for Michael's quiet, faithful ministry and gospel service as a priest.

Rest in peace Fr Glynn. Many thanks for everything while I was in Summerhill College.
I remember especially the help you gave me when studying for my Inter Cert History in 1984 and the Cadburys chocolates you gave me. Without you I wouldn't have got an honour in History that year.

Thank you too for your kindness in visiting me in hospital in 1988.

These things will never be forgotten.
