I recently visited Tom's former church in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland. He is highly regarded by the parishioners there because he played a key part in having their church rebuilt after a fire.

The Corrigan and Kearns families were neighbours on Main Street Newbridge. Fr Tom kept in touch with the family throughout the years. He sent such lovely, kind comforting words to the family following the deaths of Laura, Kathleen and Rita in the past 3 years. He spoke of his childhood memories on Main Street.
