To Teresa, Gerard and all the Moran family I, Mathona and my family are deeply saddened at Willie's passing. He was one of a kind. He was my Dean when I was a secodary student in Castlemartyr 1973 to 1976 ( now a five start hotel) when I needed a role model who was positive, youthful, energetic, fun loving, artistic and above all operated with clarity and integrity.
He married our Daughter Michelle and her husband Davin in Mogeely in 2012 and we wert back to Castlemartyr to celebrate the wedding and also to relive a live once lived in those precious but changed premises.
He was a gent. Sleep now Willie. You have fought the god fight. Now enjoy your rewards. May you rest in peace and may your family rejoice in a life fully and lovingly lived.
— Tony McDonagh
Dear Teresa, Mary and all the Moran Family, my heartfelt condolences to u all on the passing of Fr. Willie. I met you all in St Vincent’s hospital in oct/nov 2021 when Fr Willie shared a room with my husband Brian for 6 weeks. I will be forever grateful to have met Fr. Willie. He was a true gentleman and to say that he made my days a little easier is an understatement. What he did for my family during those hard weeks even though he was fighting his own battle will be forever ingrained in my heart and in my mind. I will never forget him. May he get the best bed in heaven. Rest In Peace Fr Willie 💔, Elaine, Darragh and Conor x
