I never had the privilege of meeting her in person but from years of hearing Orla talk about her with such love and admiration, I feel as if I did. What a wonderful, kind, warm, generous-spirited, loving mother she was; and what a strong person. I love the way she brought the spirit of Kinvara into the heart of Dublin and the core of your family. The world has lost one of its beautiful and most gentle of people. Your mum was always warm & welcoming, kind, interested & caring over all the years that Laura & myself have been friends. Such a special lady who made you feel like you were a very important person each time you met her. She leaves behind the same beauty and values in each of her family and her extended family. I feel honoured to have known her, and so sorry my family and myself could not attend her funeral. We watched the lovely ceremony online and felt very much a part of it though – you certainly did her proud. We send our deepest sympathy to, Laura, Ita, Angela, Orla, David, Paul, Nuala, and to her grandchildren and extended family. May she rest in peace in the gentle, loving arms of God.
