I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Francis’s death. He was a little bit of happiness that you got to chat to on the way to the shops, but if he had something to give about about he would!!! And he would tell you why.
He was easy to talk to and always gave sound advice. His house was his castle and he loved working on it. It is a testament to his hard work. Francis - a stroll to the shops will never be the same. May you find eternal peace in the arms of the angels. RIP your gentle soul

Beryl, Julie, Maureen, Josh, Alan and lucid family. I was so saddened to hear of Franks passing, we had many chats when I was going to and from the shops. He was always doing some job or painting, but he always stopped to chat about the GAA and Liverpool. He was a kind man who made time to talk to me when I needed it. I will be forever thankful for his kindness. My sincere sympathies to you all.

Francis was a fantastic Santa Claus to all the children in Maureen’s and Julie’s Montessori school. He loved carrying out the role and the children really believed the “real Santa” has visited……truely what a fantastic man.
