I am so sorry and deeply saddened for your loss.
Frank (Bampa) was a wonderful man and contributed so much to others. He was so kind and interesting, always.
I was honoured to meet him again in Skib last year.
What a great life and innings he had.
I have so many memories but top of all are those boat trips from and to HI and his laughter will remain with me and in my heart forever.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Dawes passing. He became my eloquent slim boss with good manners and humour always. He helped me at a particularly long perilous moment for my family. Thereafter he faciliated my long involvement with advanced studies.

Jean was a good friend to my wife and I, in the sphere of scouting/ guiding. Ar dheis De go raibh a naimn dilis.

I served with Frank in Carlow Lions Club from 1977. He was always a thorough gentleman with a great caring attitude. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
