I was so sorry to hear the loss of Fred. I have countless great memories from over the years of knowing Fred. He will be missed hugely by everyone that knew him. The loss of Fred to his family is immeasurable. My sincere condolences to Margaret, Robert, Lauren and Fred's wider family for their loss at this very sad time.

Comhbron a chroi Deepest sympathy to Eleanor Fred David Roland Wife Margaret Lauren Robert I Befriended Fred and Eleanor in the play Scheme When Eleanor had her utility room turned into a playroom ,full of LEGO for her four beautiful boys.Fred was a brilliant photographer.My uncle Gerry Mc Carthy drove a 1976 Ford escort up until he died at 95 years.Many photographed the car but only Fred photographed my uncle driving it,thank you Fred.What Fred didn’t know was my uncle was a bus conductor in Cork,owned the Bulls Head pub where bus drivers and conductors would have a pint after work in the 60s and 70s.Like Pat Kelly from Dublin said Fred may not have realised how much we appreciated his photography.What a wonderful person he was,Beannacht De Ar dheis De go raibh a anam
