— Mairead Bermingham (Aspell)
Dear George, it was a pleasure to have spent so many happy times together with you in France, the last one being your birthday tea party in Number Ten with all the kids. You were such a kind and lovely man. You always sent over choccies for my kids at Easter and Christmas, never forgetting Rosie's allergies! The children really loved you as their cards and drawings show 'I love you George with all my heart'. I am content to know you are once again together with Rita. Ann and I often say that her Dad and my Dad are true gentlemen. You were a true gentleman, George and we miss you very much. I will keep a special eye on Ann for you,I promise. We will celebrate your life again in Number Ten very soon together and you will be sitting in your chair under the shade of the Magnolia watching over us. May you rest in peace. Love you George.
