Your mam was an inspiration to everyone who knew her, such a fighter, despite everything she was going through, she always kept a smile on her face, her smile would light up a room. Your mam was an incredible woman.

Sharon, I had the privilege of meeting your mam when you came into House Of Fraser with her, doing your shopping. It was wonderful to see you both and chat to you after all these years. She was such a lovely woman. She was full of smiles and chat and you could see the unconditional love you had for each other, it shined through in so many ways.

I pray for your mam and all your family. I pray God will bless your wonderful mam and she will give you all the strength you need to carry on in this life. I know you will all continue to make your mam so very proud. She will always be in all of your hearts and watching over you all. RIP Ger. Heaven has gained a true angel. Xx

Ger, I was so sorry to hear this news. What memories I have of us causing terror in Casement, the laughs, the boldness - your sheer daring never failed to amaze me - your antics on bikes and roller skates were something else - we had such laughs (despite you cracking me over the head with an iron bar when we were 8!) Even though we hadn't seen each other in years, I was delighted to meet up with you last year when I was home for a visit and we had a great old time going down memory lane.

To Ger's family - so sorry for your loss - she was a fighter right to the end. To all the Matthews family, she was one of a kind and sending love to. you all. Ger you've left us with a wealth of stories and memories - and I will think of you always with a big smile.
