I returned from abroad to learn of the passing of Geraldine. I apologise for missing the service.
I cannot imagine your pain. The "2 Gers" and I had a wonderful time in our early 20's. I feel honoured to say I was her bridesmaid.
Ger was the epitome of a lady.
Dignified, beautiful, with a great sense of humour and a kind and gentle persona.
She burned bright in her short time with us.
We were all lucky to know her.

Truly Ger was one of the loveliest and most gentle souls I have known in my lifetime. We only spent time together in our early 20’s but shared many laughs and lots of muck trudging through the fields of Lisdoonvarna. My heart breaks for her family to have lost someone so special.
