He was an absolute gentleman, as was your mother, a lady, always kind and generous to us when we gathered many times in your house as young teenagers! We met them both at again at Gerry's book launch and they were just the same. We are on holidays at present, so won't be able to attend the funeral service, but will be thinking of you all at this sad time. Love Barbara John and family.

We are so sad to learn of Jerry’s death R.I.P. Jerry was always one of nature’s gentlemen . We both have very fond memories of many an evening’s bridge together with Jerry and Joan at Cherrywood and Shankill. They were both beautiful people.
Now they are reunited.
