I have known Gerry since he was an apprentice in the Galway Shopping Centre many years ago. Gerry was always smiling and in later years in Saltill a great character, he will be sadly missed

We were all saddened to hear of Ger's passing. We do weekly deliveries to Morton's, and every week I loved meeting Ger. You always knew where you stood with Ger, he shot from the hip, a fantastic butcher and person. We will miss you greatly and the yarns which you told us.
