Gerry you were a great friend and army comrsde, we both served together as drivers in Bn Transport and then completed our NCO's course together and continued to serve together till you retired. You will be sadly, and although I haven't met any of your children I did have the pleasure of socialising with both your self and Mary. Mary please accept my sincere condolences on your sad loss, unfortunatly I won't be able to attend his funeral due to prior committments but he will always be in my heart.

What an absolute pleasure to have known Gerry over the years . We always had great craic and great stories were told and tall tales of our
running escapades. Gerry will be sorely missed in the barbershop as I always looked forward to seeing him and Mary (usually off for some lunch somewhere and always together 💚) I’m off now to have a beer and I’ll have a run in the morning all the while thinking of my ole pal Gerry🏃🍺💈
