I had many happy and traveled times with Gerry and you lads on our West Dublin Athletic Club events all over Ireland and his coaching skills were of the highest order and was always so proud of all our club athletes in their performances, whether first or last, Gerry's biggest pride was to see them enjoy their sport, and that was all sport.

He will be very sadly missed by all his family, but will be remembered as 'Ger the Gentleman' by all who knew him.

Very fond memories of West Dublin AC with Gerry as our running coach, he was a lovely man who gave so much of his time training us , bringing us all over the country to races and back to the Ballyfermot Social Club for TK red lemonade and crisps.
