Sadly I cannot be with you and Andy to share your grief. I will donate to his MSF charity on his behalf.. and join you online hope we can meet soon in happier times. Love to you and your Mum and family and Andy.

Dear Anne,
I am very sad that Gerry is gone. He was a good companion. He was one of the rare people I could talk about pensions with and enjoy every minute of the conversation. He was both intellectually curious and passionately concerned about the effect of public policy on people’s lives. He was a much appreciated founding member of the European Network for Research on Public Pensions. Over many years, I enjoyed spending time with him and with you at conferences and social occasions in Dublin, Paris and elsewhere.
My thoughts go out to Monica, Gerry's sister, and to you..
