Gerry was an amazing ambassador for us all in St Kevin's CC. As chairperson of our Board Of Management and of many of our interviewing panels, Gerry contributed so much to the life of our school. He was always supportive, encouraging and amenable while always challenging us to be the best.

I did not hear the news from anyone and yet he popped into my mind in the past 24 hours. Proof perhaps that those we love, don’t go away they walk beside us every day…unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, still very near. Gerry was a true gentleman as a neighbour and he was always willing to go above and beyond. His life was one of kindly deeds offering support and good advice to anybody that needed it.
