We have many happy memories growing up at family occasions in Twiggs and time in Salthill and Kilcurriff. Heard lots of lovely stories and fond memories of him growing up from Dad over the years.

What can I say.. A lovely man, the smile in the photo is how everyone including myself remembers. Many a good night we spent chatting after I took over the Spanish arch in fuengirola. He always made a point of calling in and telling me how to run it.. You'll be missed Jerry twigg.. My condolences from myself and Katarina.. Wish we could be there to see him off.. A galway legend.

I am a west of Ireland man (Roscommon) same as Gerry.
I was a regular visitor to the crown and sceptre due to my love of Queens park Rangers.
Only seen Gerry on the odd occasion but his good grace and manners filtered through to his staff. A prober pub and many a session was had there after games!!
