She has been a kind and dear friend to Mam dropping by to read the latest news from the Nationalist, The Daily Mail or any interesting news article she came across. Friendly and chatty, we loved when Goldie popped in to the shop to see Mam, more often than not the ladies could be heard singing their favourite tunes in unison!. Codladh sámh Goldie. Very very sad to hear of Goldie's death. Main Street will never be the same without Goldie and Tony. If Goldie wasn't hurry to her organ duties, she was overseeing her wonderful little shop or ferrying the newspapers from Tony's shop to hers for evening sales. Penny sweets, hot cross buns, the wonderfully stocked ice-cream freezer.. the list goes on. She will be our memories forever . My sincere sympathy to Catherine, Margaret, Lydia, Liz and Edwina.
