We have great memories of visiting her in her studio where our daughter Niamh did a transition year work placement many years ago. her quiet, gentle and kind nature were always on display along with her great skill and craft as a potter. I was very saddened to hear of Grainnes untimely passing and offer my condolences to her Mother, husband, daughters and extended family. It was always a pleasure to meet Grainne, be it at Breeogue, the Craft Show or an Ursuline re-union. She was so gifted, a kind and wonderful lady and so modest too. Her dragonfly pieces will be treasured in this house. May Grainne rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Grainne's passing , such a gentle and kind person , I remember her artistic talent shining through during our Ursuline College years , I have many pieces of her beautiful pottery and shall remember her fondly through them .

Tom and Grainne got married on the same day as us and was always a point of mirth when we met. Grainne's warmth and kindness was always evident, whenever we met either in Sligo or wider afield. Louise and Grainne always get lost in talk of family, art, teaching, and her formidable skill at imparting her knowledge to others. Her ease of nature and affection was always evident and will be sadly missed. Our world is quieter without her. May she continue to bring love and peace to those who loved her.
