We were childhood besties. Your passing has left me totally heartbroken!

We grew up living right next door to each other, always in and out of each others house, getting up to mischief, falling out, making up, me always wanted to style your long brown hair, playing out, getting into trouble by our parents but having each others back alway etc.

It didn't matter that my mum was African and her mum Irish, we were like a blended family our mums were best of friends.

My mum was super strict so I was not allowed to eat at anyone's house as a child but Julie's house was an exception so some days I had Irish stew and some days you had my mum's "spicy chicken" as you'd refer to it - you used to think everything we had was spicy but you'd try anything so long there was a cold drink on hand to help you get through the burn.

Looking back, our childhood days living in Stamford Hill Estate were actually fun!

Circumstances separated us, and we hadn't seen each other face to face for years; just the occasional message on the socials. I think we took it for granted that we'd have forever to reconnect despite speaking about you coming back up to London and me going to Ireland; we've missed that chance and I'm so sorry friend.
Wherever you are, continue to shine like the diamond that you were in life.
I couldn't make your funeral today God knows how hard I tried but it was beautiful.The memories that I have of you will forever be held closely in my heart - rest in peace, luv ya sis💔
