Dear Teresa, Denis, John, Conor and Frank, I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your lovely, friendly Mum. She and your Dad seemed to have a wonderful relationship with each other and with each of you. I still have fond memories from many years ago of how they made your friends feel welcome and even treated us to fine food and wine at the family’s table. Losing someone so special, even at 100, must be hard. I hope will find some consolation and, in time, laughter and inspiration in the many happy memories they gave you.
— Peter Simons, London
