Dear Kathy, I am deeply sorry and saddened to hear that Henk passed away. I have been thinking about him and you so much this past week. May he rest in peace and may Our Lord give you the strength to live this new situation. I am praying for you both.

It's with great shock and sorrow that we leaned of the death of Henk (or Henrik as he disliked being called!!!). We always considered him to be an "unstoppable" force, timeless and, as I often told him - witless - because of his enduring membership and faith in the Dutch Football Supporters' association! Our sincere condolences to Cathy, Lizet, Mariska, Aubrey and Lynn in whom he always expressed pride and love. Commiserations also to his grandchildren whom he loved to hear address him as "OlPa" (or "OldPa?").. He loved being a grand-dad and he's sadly missed by us! Ar dheis Dé a raibh a ainm dílis. His death is a great loss to the social, domestic and musical life of his community. Sincere condolences to all of his family and many friends.

Cathy,like everyone else,I am so saddened to hear of Henks death. In particular his unstinting commitment to the aims and objectives of Rotary International will be a treasured memory for those of us fortunate enough to have served with him.and for all those locally and internationally who benefitted from his efforts.

Henk was a wonderful man. A businessman, a family man but a man with great community and social commitment also.
