Deepest sympathies to Rosanna and Susan and all of Ian’s family. I know Ian through football and he was a gent, whose good humour, kindness, generosity and smile shone in all circumstances. The people he played football with are all missing him so much. We cannot believe he has gone and in this difficult time we send our deepest sympathies and condolences to you all.

I was so very sorry to hear of Ian’s passing. I went to St Finians with Ian and saw him occasionally throughout the years , keeping in touch through Facebook and managing to eventually getting a night out with some of the old class last year, I will remember him fondly as forever kind, forever cheeky, forever young.
