My deepest condolences to the family and many friends of Irene. We had some great times myself and Irene at what she truly loved – sizing up properties, being the ‘Master Property Connoisseur ’ that she was. Irene spotted a bargain and then ran with it till the very end….outdoing all others as she got the deal through. The rhythm of her easiness in everything she encountered never faltered. Her kindness in understanding others and letting them finally come through for her in the end was legend. RIP dear Irene.
— Valerie Pierce

Our sincere sympathy to all of Irene's family. We were shocked toi hear of her tragic, sudden death.
She was a lovely gentle woman, we walked quite a few miles together over the years. We have memories of a trip to the Pyrenees and to Arran, Scotland on walking trips. We had not seen her since the Walkers Christmas party just a few weeks before Covid, where she looked elegant & was in great form. She has not been far from our thoughts since we heard the dreadful news.
Be easy on yourselves, this is a very tricky and difficult bereavement.
