Irene - always so friendly, welcoming, supportive and caring - forever a True Lady with a wonderful smile radiating great goodness, kindness, an inspiring strong Faith, humour and for whom Family was all-important. One treasured memory related to the day when I had a chance meeting with Irene and Dermot when at the Shake Hand of Peace at a Mass in St. Teresa's Clarendon Street Church I turned around to extend a greeting only to my surprise to discover Irene and Dermot! After Mass we shared refreshments at Bewleys in Grafton Street and had such a delightful chat...especially about Millstreet. Irene has truly enriched the lives of All. God rest her gentle Soul. Irene was such a huge part of our lives, celebrated (and commiserated) every big event since we were kids… always ready with the child of Prague when we wished for good weather for whichever event was happening!
