June, Anne and Susan I have just heard of the death of your lovely mam. I remember with great fondness playing with you all in your back garden when we were kids. Your mam was a lovely kind lady and I’m sorry I missed her funeral. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. I have so many lovely memories of Aunty Ita and Uncle Tom and the lovely times when I stayed in your house as a young child. Lovely memories making apple tarts with her and her patience when I baked it without putting sugar on the apples, the lovely roaring fire in the sitting room, the breakfast table in the mornings with the cut up oranges and the amazing ringlets from when she would put rags in our hair. A lovely legacy of love and family. Joan
