It was just recently when I looked back at a picture of Jack, John Eyres and myself on our first business trip to Bangalore/India. 2004 .. 2006 those were very inspiring days for me at Compaq, where Jack was my manager. His insights, approach and leadership were motivational and defining for me.
Though these are very sad days - I keep very good memories and will never forget such inspiring person, leader and colleague.

Sincere sympathies Marie, Emer and Grace. Jack worked with me in Fujitsu in the 90's, where I was sometimes accused of recruiting only Mayo people! But as other people have said, he was always the smartest person in the room. On Friday evenings he would have everyone in convulsions with stories from his early life. I will never forget him.
— John McHale

Two memories define Jack for me. One was him moving along the kitchen floor in Coogue being a Dalek both hands outstreched and waving from side to site buzzing and telling, not asking, Mammy to get out of his way. The other was him sitting alone outside the cowhouse hammering nails for hours. I cant express the loss I feel for him. May Marie and the girls have relief and peace now that his suffering is over.
— Joseph Jacks brother
