I was very sad and shocked to hear of dear Jack's passing, from his sister Valerie, recently. I used to run Harbour Hardware, Howth and I learnt so much from Jack. He was a true gentleman; kind, well liked, eager to share skills and knowledge. In addition to a great sense of humour, he was respected by his peers.
