Very sad to hear of Jack's death. When I arrived in Ireland first it was always a pleasure to go to Jack's butcher shop where he dispensed advice and information on all manner of things along with the meat, and always had a friendly word. Sincere condolence to Brighid and his family.

Jack was an inspiration in his final years, radiant with life and determinedly happy in the face of his illness which he bore with such courage. He gave freely of his good humour to everyone he met and his passion for his family and his love for his grandchildren was a joy to behold. Rest in peace Jack.

So sad that Jackie has passed away. Our great memories go back to living two doors away in Roselawn followed up by all the parties, dinners, barbecues, kids birthday parties, communions, squash games, golf etc. He was a great guy and a fantastic fighter .
