Jackie was an absolute gentleman, full of laughter, with an immense love of sport, none more so than hurIing. I have many great memories of time spent with Jackie through his significant involvement and coaching of the Glenmuir & Naomh Moninne Hurling Clubs, and through Louth County hurling. Not to mention his dedication to the All-Ireland Poc Fada Championship and his unrivalled passion for the Cork hurlers – there was no more enthusiastic supporter than Jackie. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace Jackie
