My dear Kathryn
No words can express how deeply shocked and saddened I am to hear of your beloved James’s sad an untimely passing. My deepest and sincerest condolences to you and all the Brosnan family..
If there was a Nobel prize for achieving so much against insurmountable odds, James would have been a laureate many years ago. He was a shining example and role model for so many.
How devastated you must be.
It is against the order of things to lose a child.
Be consoled in the fact that he is now reunited with his wonderful dad Martin who also left this life far too early.
My sincerest sympathy
Eileen
— Dr Eileen Silke, Broadway Park, Blanchardstown

I only heard today of James’ untimely death. The condolences that have already been posted refer to so many aspects of his personality and sum up his spirit and tenacity. His humour in adversity was inspirational. He came to Mount Temple as a pupil who was committed to learning. However, without his even being aware of it, both staff and pupils learned so much more from James than he did from us. The Mount Temple community is privileged to have shared part of his life’s journey.
— Elspeth Henderson, Mount Temple
Sincere sympathy to the Brosnan family on your sad loss. James was a trail blazer.

I had the privilege of getting to know James through working at the CRC. He was one of the brightest, funniest and most talented people I've ever met and he has such an enormous impact and influence on all of us who worked with him. I'll always remember him as the heart of some of the most raucous nights out I've ever been on and the life and soul of every social occasion. Many of us will consider ourselves so lucky to have ever known James and will miss him terribly. Suaimhneas síoraí i gcumhacht James.
