My sincere condolences on Jim's recent death. I remember him well and fondly on the sidelines of rugby pitches in Rathmines, Kenilworth Square, Templeville Road and beyond. He was an absolutely lovely gentlemen. RIP Jim.

Deeply saddened to hear of Jim's death. We sat together in UCD for 4 years to become BE's and latterly at lunches in Fitzwilliam together with the Friends of 57!

Ethna and family, I was so very sorry to have just heard of Jim's death. I am sorry that I didn't hear in time to attend the funeral. Jim was an incredible friend to our father, Kevin, visiting him so regularly after Mum died. A gentle and courteous man. You were both true friends to them both. Thinking of you. RIP.

Ethna so sorry to learn of Jim's death. He was an absolute gentleman on the few occasions that we met. However I would have picked up the essence of this man from your frequent references to him in conversations we would have had during your time on our Board in Crumlin. A light and companion has left you but will remain a light in your heart and mind.

Jim our friend was the founder and past Chairman of our Association and for many years our Planning Officer, he was the most obliging man you could meet and nothing was too much for him to do on behalf of our community.
