He was a work colleague of mine for 35 years and was highly regarded by all his coworkers at the Kilmeaden Cheese Factory. He was a man of many talents, including welding, pipe fitting, block laying, and any DIY job that needed fixing. His favorite pastime was ploughing, and he won numerous trophies at many ploughing matches in local areas. He also represented Waterford on several occasions at the All-Ireland Ploughing Championships.May he rest in peace.
