It was with great sadness that I received the news of Jimmy’s sudden passing. When we sailed into Dun Laoghaire Jimmy kindly showed me and my son Rory over the beautiful ‘Soufriēre’ which he later sailed to victory at Cowes. Jimmy was a lovely man. The ocean has lost a sailor.
