Jim always made me laugh. That to me is a quality that is so undervalued.

I remember we were singing karaoke on Boxing Day one year and Jimmy decided to give ‘You’re beautiful’ by James blunt a try.

He ended up signing a completely and made up his own melody obviously not having a clue how the song went. He made us all laugh so much that I preferred his version to the original.

Anytime I hear that song I think of Jimmy and smile!

So sad to hear this. As a kid I always remember the excitement when Jimmy came to visit us in Inchicore. We always had the best laughs. He was a good and kind man. Condolences to you all.
