My sincere condolences to Paul & Angela , Siobhan, Dede, Jason, Christy & Hanna Rose on this incredibly difficult time.

I know Jimmy since I arrived in Dubai in 2004, he’s been family to me & my family and so much more. The cheeky chap always coming round with that smile that you just could not but smile with him. We have been side by side though the amazing days playing for Dubai Celts touring the Asian Gaelic Games circuit to the world of horse racing. I have so many of my good friends in my life because of Jimmy.
When I moved here first I became popular with visitors especially those getting injured on the racetrack, my place practically became recuperation centre for injuried jockeys. When I traveled for work Jimmy would be called upon and appointed as the realiable one to 'manage' the gang and ensure I still had an apartment to return to. What infact was happening he became their 'social' Manager and I'd hear about the parties much later on or have my security guard asking where Jimmy was. He had a way with everyone, his banter and charm used to maximum.

Im grateful for every moment I have had with you.
One of a kind, Jimmy the gent, the one I could always rely on.
Miss your cheeky smile, the coffee catch ups, the hugs that came included and that energy you always brought with you lifting everything positively & your endless voice notes for catchups on the way to catchups. Blessed to have had you in my life.

Rest easy Jimbo, I'll miss you forever - Ev x

Deepest sympathy to Jimmy's family on their loss. I spent time in Dubai playing football alongside Jimmy with the Celts. It was a great community and Jimmy was front and centre of everything that went on in the Celts. He was a great warrior on the pitch as well as a true gent off the pitch. He will be missed.

May he rest in peace.

Deepest condolences ♥️

Jimmy made a huge impact on everyone he met. Always the loudest and most fun, he brightened every room he was in. Thank you for being you, Jimmy and thank you for all the good times. I hope you’re at peace now and wherever you are, there’s an unlimited amount of terribly burnt steak and half pieces of gum.
Xx
— Vicky Cole
My deepest sympathy to Jimmy's parents, family and friends.

I first met Jimmy on one of my many extended visits to Dubai. The craic we had over the years, Jimmy was the magnet that glued everyone together. He had this uncanny talent of being able to gel into any situation, there was many a firm security guard that melted under Jimbo's persuasion after 1 minute of his charm and next thing you know we were somewhere we shouldn't be.

A born athlete, huge heart, such a warm person, one in a million, rest in peace Jimmy.
— Sean McDermott
Jimmy took me under his wing from the moment I arrived in Dubai in 2009. Driving me to and from the Sevens 2 or 3 times a week for Celts training, introducing me to Ravi's, dragging me around Safa Park on interval runs, rooming with him at the Bahrain tournament and just being the go to man for advice on anything Dubai related. He was an absolute gent, a live wire, someone who would instantly lift your mood with his energy and passion for the craic. Jimmy showed a genuine interest in everyone's life and has left behind a massive void in all of his different social groups in Dubai and beyond. Loved by everyone and I'm so grateful to have had the privilege of knowing him. RIP Jimbo.
— Kevin O'Driscoll

My deepest sympathies go out to the entire Walsh family during this incredibly difficult time.

Jimmy's presence in the Irish community in Dubai was truly remarkable. His unwavering kindness and invaluable guidance, especially during the process of securing our family home, will always be remembered with immense gratitude.

Playing rounds of golf with Jimmy was always great craic. Witnessing his remarkable progress over the past year, despite using a set of irons older than myself, was a testament to his determination and passion.

Jimmy's legacy as a true gentleman will be profoundly missed, not only in Dubai but also across the world.

Suaimhneas Síoraí, mo chara.

Jimmy was an absolute gentleman! I met Jimmy in 2005 when I moved to Dubai and went on to share many incredibly fun times and sporting events with him. One of the highlights was winning the Local Social Plate in the Dubai 7s in 2008. While this was the lower level completion that weekend we celebrated like we had won the main event. It was an honor to know Jimmy!

My deepest condolences to his parents and all his family!

I have such fond memories of Jimmy from my time in Dubai - from local GAA tournaments, Palm parties, Rugby Sevens sessions, Paddy’s Day balls, Asian Games trips and general fun nights out.

Jimmy always lit up a room with his positive personality and genuineness. Always good for a chat and a laugh. I’ll always remember him having a cheeky cigarette in between games and carrying his backpack around, even on nights out after!

He will be missed by many many people. Rest in peace dear Jimmy, dear friend.
