My sincere sympathies to Marion , Denise and John and the extended family of Jimmy. He was a friend to many and never expected anything in return. My contact with Jimmy goes back to the Naas. Technical School when Jimmy was a student in my Metalwork Class.
I publicly want to pay tribute to Jimmy as the unsung hero of the Naas Summer Projects. His help was invaluable in the running of the project. Over 1000 children will remember the talent shows and concerts, none of which would have happened without Jimmy.. Jimmy was always the cheerful, very efficient provider of all the sound equipment without which we couldn’t have survived for all the yearsI. I personally am very sad at Jimmy’s demise.
May he Rest in Peace.

I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the Lawlor family on the passing of Jimmy. We served together in the Army Apprentice School Naas back in the day. A kind hearted man that had time for everyone. We were all cogs in the wheel that gave the school such a great name. Jimmy's contribution was always one hundred percent in anything he was involved in. It was a pleasure to serve with him. May his kind soul rest in peace.
