I knew Noel from Dennehy’s fish shop. I had many entertaining conversations with him. Plenty of slagging matches and he was very kind to us all.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to Caroline and the extended family on the passing of Noel. He was not only a wonderful colleague but also a dear friend. I will profoundly miss my work buddy, mentor, and one of the finest fish filleters in Cork.
Noel had a unique ability to keep us all in line—he certainly knew how to keep me on my toes! His sharp wit and no-nonsense approach endeared him to many of our customers, who appreciated his humor just as much as I did.
Looking back, I cherish the great laughs and wonderful times we shared over the years. My heart is heavy knowing he is no longer with us.
