Jas, Orla and jadzia , my sincere sympathy to all of you and the loss of your father Jan.

I was lucky to have considered him a friend. He was a wonderful warm kind and interesting man, great company and very unassuming. He understood Ireland and Irish people very well.May he Rest in Peace.

To Orla, Jadzia and Jas, I was very sorry to hear of your father's death - as I was of your mother's, all those years ago. I have great memories of growing up in the house in Serpentine Road, where I lived in the '70s. My mother, Mary Kay always had a special fondness for you all, as children and we occasionally wondered how you were getting on.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the memorial on Monday but I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you.
Kindest Regards,
Jessie
