Janet Parkyn Walsh

How sad to hear of your sudden passing, but what wonderful memories you have left behind. 51 years of treasured friendship. Our meeting was at Transvaal Carpets when you were just 20. After work we would go down to His Majesty's Cellars to listen to the local band playing and have a couple of drinks. My one and only time camping overnight at Kyalami racetrack was with you. We'd go to parties together. Get my brother to take us to The Old Vienna on Sunday evenings to have light snacks and drinks and listen to the bands. We'd often go 10 pin bowling over the weekends. It was my honour to be your bridesmaid when you got married. So many good memories. Too many to mention. Janet, you will be sorely missed. Rest in peace until we meet again xxx

To a lady who was like a second mother to me, I can't believe you are gone it saddens me to know I will never hear you laugh at the things we got up to Tamsin and me. I am truly grateful that I have so so many memories of you from your home in SA and my trip to the UK we will miss you and love you lots.

What very sad news to hear about Janet’s death. We go back so many years and had some wonderful times together in Benoni. I have so many great memories from the good old days. Condolences to you and family Tamsin.

We are just lost without you. Everything is too quiet, and there's just a big hole where you should be. Thank you for always trying even when you couldn't.
