May he rest in peace
— Tommy ORourke, Sandymount, Dublin
My sincere sympathy to Jarlath's sisters, and to Leo, Peig, Aoife, Stephen, Áine and Mairéad on the sad news of Jarleth's passing. Thinking of you all, and keeping Steph in my prayers too. I so enjoyed their company! May they be reunited in heaven. May they rest in peace, Amen.
— Sarah Prendergast Mahon
Deepest sympathy to the Cox family from an old Nenagh CBS schoolmate. Often remembered
that gentle soul, Jarlath, but it was only this month we bridged a gap of nearly 70 years. I hope
our chat was as enjoyable for Jarlath as it was for me. RIP.
— Tony and Julie Flannery, Rathcoole
It was with deep regret that we hear last night of Jarlath's passing and we are deeply sorry we missed his funeral Mass, may I express our deepest sympathy to Mildred and Sister Dolores Mercedes and to Leo and Peig who were so good to him and all the Conway families.
Our families have know the Cox's for many ,many years several members of both the Quinlan and Flannery families were in school with the Cox's and some in their classes. We particularily are thinking of Sr.Mercedes in South Africa as she and Sr.Evangilist ( Nuala Quinlan) ,our aunt who died earlier this year were life time companions and both went off to the missions in the early 1950's .Our family and the Cox's were neighbours at home living only 4 doors away in Nenagh ,and we think of your father Garda Sgt.Cox and Mrs.Cox at this sad time, may Jarlath rest in peace.
— Kevin and Mary Flannery and family
