I’m so sad to hear of Jean’s passing 💔 I knew Jean in Loreto College Bray and then years later at BIFE art and craft course. We had such a lovely class and all got on so well! The laughs! I will always remember how talented Jean was and her note books were so detailed and laid out in such a professional way! I kept asking to see them! She was way ahead of most of us! Oh such a lady ❤️ such a loss to everyone and especially her family and the art world. 💔❤️

Neil, Cleo, Becky, Reuben, Mary and families,
I am so saddened to hear of Jean's passing. Though I had not seen Jean in more than 20 years, my memories of visits in 2001 and 2003 remain vivid. Having met Neil (and Becky) in the Philippines, I thought it a good idea to explore Ireland, of course, starting with Bray. A canadian traveler, showing up on Jean's doorstep in Knocknagow, could not have found a more inviting, hospitable, fun host in Jean. What a treat to be welcomed into her home! Jean, with Mary, toured me around Bray and beyond. To this day, Jean's garden is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Surrounded by her flowers and greenery, I enjoyed peaceful chats with Jean, as well as a lively Bray Vista concert. I marveled at Jean's artistic talents - her garden outside, her sewing and art found inside the house; such a talented, yet humble, woman. The quantity of time spent with Jean was limited, but I forever cherish the quality of my time spent in her presence.
My sincerest condolences to Jean's family and friends...
